1. What is Greenify Earth Foundation's goal?

Our goal is to provide information and to develop new environmentally-friendly products. We educate in the form of seminars, individual counseling, community programs, public demonstrations, and published media. We also discover, develop, test, and prove technologies which will aid in allowing sustainable living within the Earth's ecosystem.

  2. How does Greenify Earth work to achieve its goal to save our planet?

We are constantly at work promoting changes to lifestyles and product choices. The average member of the foundation has reduced personal fuel consumption by about 300-400 gallons. That saves money and, more importantly, reduces CO2 and other emissions significantly. We have improved health by getting many people to exercise for more than one hour each day by showing them how much fun exercise can be. Our work in educating the public has proven to be very effective. School administrators and students enjoy our presentations and activities.

  3. How does Greenify Earth choose its focused projects such as "Project Pedalus" and "Project Tiny Eco House"?

Every project we decide to work on has a large result with a small cost. Project Pedalus, for example, will educate countless numbers of people from around the world. The potential success is very high and will inspire people of all ages. Project Tiny Eco House will demonstrate the excesses in many people's lives. It will change perspectives and have a positive long-term effect.

  4. What is "Project Pedalus"?

Project Pedalus is promoting human powered vehicles as alternatives to fossil fuel powered vehicles. It involves researching highly efficient, affordable, and commercially available bikes and trikes. To promote awareness and to do extensive research, in Summer 2009, volunteers of the foundation pedaled around the country in a variety of efficient human powered vehicles. The recumbent bikes and trikes we used were chosen for their superior aerodynamics and ergonomics. Recumbent bikes make riding more enjoyable, accessable, and efficient for everyone.

  5. Why are Human Powered and Human-Electric Vehicles a solution to our global crisis?

Human Powered and Human-Electric Vehicles have a great potential as replacements or additions to fossil fuel power. Human power is very capable and can produce average speeds of 18-22 miles per hour (29-35km/h) for hours at a time. Highly efficient, although not yet affordable or practical, human powered vehicles are capable of highway speeds for up to an hour. Efficient vehicles already exist that are affordable, safe, and practical. A lot of driving is done with no passengers or cargo and for short distances. These trips are easily replaced by human powered travel. Unfortunately, most people do not realize that human power is safe, easy, economical, and practical or that it can be done without sweating or freezing in bad weather.

  6. Why is Project Pedalus traveling around the United States and Canada in Summer 2009 with Velomobiles?

Because so few people know about the capabilities of Human Powered Vehicles, we must inform them. While trips of such great distance are a great way to test our vehicles and equipment, they are an even better and more affordable way to meet thousands of people and share information. We will visit many schools, towns, cities, and individuals. If we can convince half of the people we come across to ride their bikes to work once in the next year, they will save at least 5000 gallons of gasoline and 100,000 pounds of carbon dioxide.

  7. What is "Project Tiny Eco House"?

Project Tiny Eco House is an experiment designed to test the viability of living in a sustainable, off-grid home utilizing both traditional and modern technologies. It will highlight the benefits of giving up a materialistic lifestyle in exchange for more time, more money, and harmony with our world.

  8. Why are Tiny Eco Houses vital to global sustainability?

Perfect for our current environmental and economical issues, tiny homes are inexpensive to build, use readily available and renewable resources and provide the comforts of modern housing without the negative impact on Earth.

  9. How can I make a difference?

Read through our extensive research in our media section to see how little things can really improve the world. For a quick answer, ride a bike or trike instead of using your car when you can. We also encourage you to contribute money, in any amount, to Greenify Earth Foundation. Donations allow us to discover, research, and develop sustainable technologies.

  10. How can I support Greenify Earth Foundation?

Our donation page explains in detail what you need to do to contribute and where your money will go. We only accept online donations through PayPal, a secure online transfer, which accepts credit cards and funds from other PayPal accounts.
